hello and thank you

Single parenting is, perhaps, one of the most challenging things ever. Not only do you need to play the role of one parent, but two. There's no spouse to take the night shift while you conk out. There's nobody to do the carrying when your arms are about to fall off. And there's no one else to do the earning but you.

However, while single parenthood has cons, it cannot be denied that the perks outweigh all the complaints one can possibly think of. When you see your child smile and look at you with pure admiration, as if you're the singlemost beautiful thing he or she has ever seen, every pain, fatigue, hurt, irritation fades.

I am a single parent myself. As of today, I have a four month old baby girl. And this is my attempt at chronicling the life of a single parent as I live it. Thank you for reading.
